Security Guard Speaks from Hospital After Mayfair Nightclub Crash
Guard Speaks After Mayfair Nightclub Crash

Anoosh Chaichy, the security guard struck by a Mercedes outside a Mayfair nightclub in a crash that left a BBL influencer fighting for her life, has spoken for the first time from his hospital bed. The 59-year-old suffered life-changing injuries when the high-powered black vehicle hit him as he attempted to move his e-scooter at the end of his shift.

Victim's Condition and Recovery

Mr Chaichy, a fitness enthusiast from north London, sustained serious lacerations to his leg during the incident outside Inca nightclub. He underwent surgery this week at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington for a skin graft. Miraculously, he suffered no broken bones but will remain hospitalized for several days and could be off work for six months.

Speaking from his hospital ward, Mr Chaichy told friends: 'I am still in a lot of pain.' A friend who visited him said: 'He wasn't in a good way when I saw him a few days ago. He'd just had surgery and had had a skin graft applied to an injury on his leg where his skin was torn and flesh and muscle exposed.'

The friend added: 'I've seen rumours online that he's lost a leg. That isn't true. The injury was not minor, but it could have been much worse. He hasn't any broken bones but he's going to be in hospital for a few days yet. He's on a lot of medication.'

Mr Chaichy, who works for Citadel Securities and has been a doorman at Inca London for about a year, remembers little of the incident. 'He had his back turned at the time and was hit from behind. The impact left him in severe shock, and he was drifting in and out of consciousness.'

Influencer Victim and Arrest

Klaudia Zakrzewska, known as Klaudiaglam on Instagram and TikTok, was also struck by the car and remains in critical condition. X Factor finalist and influencer Gabrielle Carrington, known as RIELLEUK, was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving.

Carrington, 29, from Manchester, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, where she spoke only to confirm her name and date of birth. She made a heart gesture to family and friends as she was remanded in custody. Prosecutor Rizwan Amin said there had been an ongoing dispute between the parties, who are known to each other.

The court heard that after an altercation, Carrington re-entered her vehicle, which then moved off and 'sharply' mounted the pavement, striking Miss Zakrzewska and dragging her underneath the vehicle before hitting Mr Chaichy. A third person, Latisha Armstrong, suffered a broken wrist. Carrington allegedly had 61 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, nearly double the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.

District judge Nina Tempia remanded Carrington in custody ahead of her next appearance at the Old Bailey next month.
