Gladiators Star Giant Speaks Out on BBC Exit After Relationship Ultimatum

Gladiators star Giant, real name James Bigg, has broken his silence over his sudden departure from the BBC reboot. The former professional bodybuilder and firefighter claimed he left the show after bosses gave him an ultimatum regarding his relationship with an OnlyFans creator.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Bigg said: “I think it's very important that the fans of the show understand that Giant is a character on that show, and Jamie is a person that has a private relationship.” He alleged that the choice presented to him “did not align” with his values.

The BBC and production company Hungry Bear confirmed his exit in a statement to The Independent: “After three formidable series, Giant is leaving Gladiators. We’d like to thank him for everything he has contributed to the show and wish him well for the future.”
