Fern Britton has revealed she remains friends with John Leslie, 24 years after they co-hosted ITV's This Morning together. Leslie, who presented the show alongside Britton from 1999 to 2002, has since moved into property development and radio.
Leslie, once one of the UK's most popular TV presenters, started his career as a DJ in Edinburgh and Newcastle before making his first TV appearance on the Music Box channel in 1987. He became the first Scottish host of Blue Peter in 1989 and later took over from Bradley Walsh on Wheel of Fortune.
His personal life attracted significant media attention, including relationships with Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and glamour model Abi Titmuss. A sex tape involving Titmuss, Leslie and an aspiring model emerged in 2004, leading to a highly publicised split. Titmuss later said she regretted meeting him.
Leslie now owns properties in Glasgow, London and Edinburgh through his company Les & Lex Limited, named after his parents. He also presents a Saturday radio show on Scottish Bauer Radio Am network.
