Nigel Farage has sold personalised videos in which he endorsed a neo-Nazi event, repeated far-right slogans and supported a man convicted for his involvement in a far-right riot. The revelations come from an analysis of more than 4,000 clips the Reform UK leader produced on the platform Cameo since 2021.
Among the clips identified by the Guardian, Farage recorded a video for a man who had received a 16-month sentence for violent disorder during the 2024 summer riots. Despite having condemned the riots at the time, Farage charged £155 for the message and urged the recipient to “keep acting in the right way”.
In another video, paid £141, Farage promoted an event by a Canadian neo-Nazi group, calling it “the best thing that ever happened”. The group used the clip in propaganda alongside fascist salutes and antisemitic imagery. Other videos contained misogynistic remarks about left-wing politicians and references to antisemitic conspiracy theories.
The Guardian accessed the prompts Farage received, including one from a user who expressed support for the National Front and another who asked for a video for a former UKIP supporter who dislikes “the gypsies”. The source code also revealed that Farage has earned at least £374,893 from his Cameo activity.
A spokesperson for Farage said that at the scale of thousands of videos, “the occasional mistake can occur” and added that the clips “should not be treated as political statements”. They emphasised his long-standing opposition to extremism and political violence.
