Euphoria Season 3 Finale Set to Be Longest HBO Episode Ever

The season 3 finale of Euphoria is set to become the longest TV episode in HBO's history, with a runtime of 93 minutes. This surpasses the previous record held by Game of Thrones' season 8 episode 3, which ran for 82 minutes, and House of the Dragon's season 2 finale at 73 minutes.

The news comes after the show aired its fifth episode, which ended on a terrifying cliffhanger. Rue's deception caught up with her as arms dealer Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) became suspicious, leading to Rue being buried up to her neck alive. Meanwhile, Nate (Jacob Elordi) pressured Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) to wire him money for his debts, but failed to pay, resulting in his finger being ripped off.

Season 3 picks up five years after the season 2 finale, following Rue (Zendaya) and her former classmates in California. Returning cast members include Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Colman Domingo. New additions include Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sam Trammell, and Asante Blackk.
