David Beckham has been crowned the most stylish male celebrity in the UK, according to a new poll. The former footballer beat Idris Elba and Harry Styles to the top spot, with Styles ranked as the highest celebrity under 35.
More than four in ten respondents said Harry Styles has his own distinct taste and does not care about others' opinions. A quarter admired his non-conformist approach to fashion, while two-thirds of 18 to 34-year-olds found his outfits inspiring. Favourite items included tailored suits (15%) and silk shirts (11%).
The survey, commissioned by National Express, also revealed that among those attending events, 37% value arriving in style. Comfortable seats (45%) and being dropped at the venue door (35%) were top priorities. The coach company has partnered with The Traitors star Stephen Libby to offer concert fashion tips.
Stephen Libby said: 'Going to a big stadium show is one of my favourite things. The music is great, the vibes are immaculate and the fashion is next level. You can really go all out – from cowboy boots and metallic fringe co-ords to bedazzled dresses and chic jumpsuits.'
Bhavik Patel, senior commercial manager for festivals and events at National Express, added: 'This summer is going to be huge for both music and fashion. Our job is to get fans to the heart of the action with smooth, stress-free travel.'
