Newly released images from Jeffrey Epstein's private Caribbean island, Little St. James, have sparked widespread online speculation after a blackboard bearing 12 unusual words was revealed. The words, which include 'plants', 'appears', 'power', 'deception', 'man is face (or far)', 'fear', 'pain', 'intellectual', 'political', 'truth', 'music', and 'time - day', have prompted internet sleuths to search for hidden meanings.
The images were made public by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee via their X/Twitter account. Representative Robert Garcia, a committee member, stated: 'These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island. We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes.'
Other photos from the island include what appears to be a dentist's chair surrounded by masks on the wall, and a landline phone with speed-dial names including Larry, Patrick, Mike, Rich, and Darren. Redacted names of women were withheld out of caution. The release follows pressure from Democrats and some Republicans, after President Donald Trump initially blocked the documents, calling them a 'hoax'. Trump later relented when enough votes were secured to force their release via legislation.
Trump and Epstein were once friends but fell out in the mid-2000s. The photos and videos are separate from a larger document haul expected to be released before or on December 19. The Oversight Committee's post on X said: 'Oversight Dems have received never-before-seen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein's private island that are a harrowing look behind Epstein’s closed doors. See for yourself. We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors.'
