Emmerdale viewers are speculating that a credits error may have revealed the identity of the mystery arsonist, but many believe it could be a deliberate red herring. The fire starter, shown as a hooded figure in a black tracksuit and trainers, appeared in the opening scene of Thursday's episode. However, the end credits listed Kyle Winchester first, leading fans to suspect the soap inadvertently exposed him as the culprit.
Despite the clue, some fans argue the blunder is too obvious and suspect a twist. Kammy Hadiq, Ross Barton, and Sam Dingle have all faced questioning, but viewers are pointing to returning character Sadie King as the real arsonist. One fan commented: 'Look Emmerdale is tricking us they making us think it’s Kyle even though it’s Sadie who started the hay fire.'
Others speculate Sadie may have a child who is causing havoc, or that the arsonist is linked to her. A viewer said: 'Couldn't be maybe Sadie King child if it turns out she have one who would wreak havoc on village or maybe is she starting fires? Just too predictable if it's Kyle.' Another simply responded: 'Sadie King.'
