TV Producer Reveals Emma Willis's Secret to Success Amid Strictly Host Rumours

A television producer has disclosed what they believe is the secret to Emma Willis's success, as speculation mounts over her potential role as a new host of Strictly Come Dancing. The 50-year-old presenter has been tipped to replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who are both leaving the BBC show.

The producer, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Telegraph that Willis possesses a unique blend of traits that endear her to audiences. “If anyone can turn things around for Strictly, it's her. There's something she has on screen, a mix of vulnerability and confidence, that everyone just falls in love with,” they said.

They also praised Willis's determination, adding: “She is one of the most determined professionals I've ever worked with. If you look at her track record, you'll see what I mean. This won't be the first show she's joined when things were looking shaky and she's always worked some magic.”

Willis, who has hosted programmes including The Voice UK, Love Is Blind, Big Brother, and The One Show, previously expressed her love for Strictly on This Morning last August. During the appearance, she demonstrated her “sofa dancing” moves, prompting former Strictly professional James Jordan to jokingly advise her to “never do Strictly” if she danced like that.

A BBC spokesperson told the Mirror: “Plans for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will be confirmed in due course.”
