Emily Atack Hints at Traitors Appearance as 'Brilliant Liar'

Emily Atack has hinted she would be a formidable contestant on The Traitors, describing herself as a 'brilliant liar'. The 36-year-old actress, known for her role in Rivals, made the comments at the launch of new ITV game show Nobody's Fool, which she co-hosts with Danny Dyer.

Speaking at the event on Thursday, Atack joked about feeling delicate after the previous night's premiere of Rivals season two, quipping she was 'hanging out of her a***'. She also noted Dyer's absence, saying: 'Speaking of hangovers, Danny's not here!'

Nobody's Fool sees ten contestants compete in a country manor for up to £100,000, with the aim of convincing others they are more intelligent than they appear. Atack explained the show decides contestants' fate 'not by how clever they are, but by how clever their fellow contestants think they are'.

The mother of a two-year-old son, Barney, with fiancé Alistair Garner, Atack admitted she now prefers day-drinking. 'I have an almost two year old, so I'm really into my day drinking, it means you sober up by the afternoon!' she said.

Atack described reuniting with Dyer as a 'no-brainer', adding: 'We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch, it's an absolute must see.' Dyer previously called the show 'a blinder' and unlike anything he had seen before.
