British actress Jill Curzon, best known for her role as Louise in the 1966 Doctor Who film Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 AD alongside Peter Cushing, has died at the age of 87. Her close friend Pete Sims confirmed she passed away peacefully at her home in Spain last month.
A Life in Film and Television
Curzon appeared in films with Hollywood stars such as Cliff Robertson and Robert Wagner, as well as the Morecambe and Wise comedy The Intelligence Men. She also featured in classic TV shows including The Saint, The Champions, and The Dick Emery Show.
Tributes from Friends and Fans
Pete Sims, who helped Curzon write her memoir over 12 years, described her as "a kind, generous person who loved life; she had a zest for life." He recalled her joy in sharing stories about working with Hollywood stars in the 1960s and 1970s.
Heartbroken fans paid tribute online, with one writing: "The Tardis has lost one more passenger today."
Curzon is survived by her daughter Michelle King and grandson Taj.
