Ben Goldsmith has posted a moving tribute to his late daughter Iris, who died on 8 July 2019 at the age of 15. The financier and environmentalist shared a photo of Iris kneeling in mud with a pig and her piglets, smiling at the camera.
In the caption, Goldsmith wrote: 'I keep myself busy with the things I do. But every time I pause, I still think of you.' Followers responded with messages of support and heart emojis.
Iris died in an off-road vehicle accident on the family's farm in Somerset. She was the first child of Ben and his ex-wife Kate Emma Rothschild, and heiress to a fortune believed to be over £300 million.
In April, Ben and his second wife Jemima Jones welcomed a daughter named Vita, which means 'life'. The couple also have two other children, Eliza, three, and Arlo, two. Ben told HELLO! magazine that Vita's middle name is Iris, 'after her guardian angel big sister'.
