David Haye Plans to Sue ITV for Over £10m Over I'm a Celeb

David Haye has announced his intention to sue ITV for more than £10 million, claiming his portrayal on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in South Africa was manipulated and caused irreparable damage to his brand. The former boxer, 45, made the declaration in an Instagram video, stating he is prepared for what he described as 'one of the biggest battles' of his life.

Haye alleged that the show was 'heavily directed' and 'manipulated' to fit a specific narrative, and he expressed confidence that a judge would side with him once the unedited footage is reviewed. 'Once the tapes have been viewed, once the evidence has been presented... they'll realise that maybe this reality TV might not be that real,' he said.

The boxer faced backlash during his jungle stint for controversial comments, including a remark about his girlfriend's personality and a clash with campmate Adam Thomas, whom he called 'useless' after Thomas declined a trial due to psoriatic arthritis. Haye also stated he didn't 'give a s**t' about Thomas's condition.

Haye claimed the sum he is seeking exceeds the reported £10 million figure, though he declined to specify the amount. 'The number I'm going to hit him with is way more than that. Trust me, so exciting times,' he said, referring to ITV. He added that he has a secret 'up his sleeve' and is looking forward to the legal process.
