YouTube star Daniel Coleman, widely known as Danny Go, has announced the passing of his 14-year-old son, Isaac. The creator and host of the popular children's YouTube channel shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram on Thursday.
A Life Marked by Courage
Isaac was born with Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic disorder that impairs the body's ability to repair DNA. In December, Coleman revealed that his son had been diagnosed with Stage 3 mouth cancer. Despite these immense challenges, Isaac faced each obstacle with remarkable grit and maintained his trademark joy.
In his emotional tribute, Coleman wrote: "Oh my sweet boy. There's so much I want to say, but I don't know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process." He shared a portrait of his son alongside a black-and-white image of himself holding Isaac.
A Father's Pride
Coleman reflected on his son's resilience: "Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit...and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all. You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac!" He added that remembering how loved Isaac was and how full of life his time on Earth was gives him great comfort. "Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime. I'm so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son."
Daniel and Mindy Coleman also share a younger son, Levi. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
