Daily Show Mocks Trump's 'Bachelor Party' of CEOs on China Trip

The Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper has ridiculed Donald Trump over the parade of billionaire CEOs who accompanied him on his trip to China. Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for a three-day state visit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, focusing on trade, technology, and regional security issues such as Iran and Taiwan.

The president was joined by a host of business leaders, including Tesla's Elon Musk, Apple's Tim Cook, and Nvidia's Jensen Huang, along with family members and administration officials. However, before departing, Trump lashed out at a reporter who questioned the rising cost of his ballroom, calling them a 'dumb person'.

Reacting to the clip, Klepper joked: 'Calm down, Mr. President. Go to your happy place.' A picture of Trump with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein appeared, prompting the comedian to quip: 'Well, not literally. That party is over, and your wingman is MIA.' Trump has consistently denied being friendly with Epstein.

Klepper continued: 'The point is, I think both Trump and us could benefit from this time apart... You can take your boys with you.' Referring to Musk, Cook, and Huang, he laughed: 'That's your crew? Those are your boys? Not exactly the Rat Pack here, is it? That's the kind of bachelor party that makes a stripper want to get her life back in order.'

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle responded to The Independent: 'Who the hell is Jordan Klepper?' The segment follows a recent Daily Show episode where host Jon Stewart mocked Trump's constant boasting about his cognitive health, questioning why doctors repeatedly ask him to take cognitive tests.
