Curtis Pritchard Fails to Complete London Marathon

Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has failed to complete the London Marathon, leaving fans and fellow runners puzzled. The 30-year-old reality personality, known for his appearances on various iterations of the ITV2 dating show, joined co-stars Lauren Wood and Dejon Noel-Williams at the starting line in Blackheath. However, while both of his fellow Love Island alumni successfully crossed the finish line, Pritchard's whereabouts during the race remain a mystery.

Missing Finish Line

Official results for the marathon, which took place days ago, show no recorded finish time for Curtis Pritchard. A source close to the situation commented, "There was much fanfare over the Love Islanders taking part in the marathon – especially Curtis, who shared so much of his training on social media. But while Lauren and Dejon both formally finished, Curtis hasn't officially finished the race – and it ended four days ago. Other runners have posted online claiming they saw him, but no one knows why he didn't finish." The Mirror has reached out to Curtis's representative for comment.

In contrast, Lauren Wood achieved an impressive time of 4 hours, 33 minutes, and 32 seconds, making her the fastest Love Island contestant ever to complete the London Marathon. Dejon Noel-Williams followed closely behind with a time of 4:56:11. Curtis's brother, AJ Pritchard, also participated and finished the 26.2-mile course in 5 hours, 15 minutes, and 27 seconds.

Leading up to the event, Curtis and AJ documented their training extensively on social media, sharing clips of their runs and encouraging fans to donate to charity. The night before the marathon, AJ posted videos of the brothers preparing, while Curtis shared footage of himself getting a haircut for race day. However, since the marathon ended, Curtis has remained silent about his performance, posting only a light-hearted comedy video where he pretended to seek financial advice.

Celebrations and Support

Lauren and Dejon were seen celebrating after completing the race, surrounded by friends and family at the finish area. A friend of Lauren's shared that she had carefully prepared for the heat, saying, "Lauren was really aware of the heat going into the race, especially as it was her first marathon, so she made sure to pace herself and stay on top of her hydration from the start. She was never going to give up or pull out because this has been a dream for her to complete, and she wanted to do Dog's Trust proud, which she absolutely did."

After finishing, Lauren celebrated with friends, including fellow Islanders Megan Moore and Jessica Harding. The source added, "Lauren said the atmosphere was incredible and that the amazing crowds really got her through each mile. Lauren has spoken openly about how running has helped her, especially in the last year, and to be able to challenge and prove to herself she can do these marathons but also raise money for causes so close to her heart means the world to her."
