Skripal Property Sale Headline Corrected
The Guardian has issued a correction regarding a headline from its print edition on 26 June (page 18) concerning the sale of the Skripal house. The headline incorrectly stated that the property was offered for sale “with no mention of novichok poisoning.” In fact, as the article itself noted, the estate agent Carter & May included a disclosure in the property particulars for the Salisbury home: “For full disclosure, this property was involved in the novichok event that took place in 2018.” The error was confined to the print headline; the online version was amended to correct a similar misstatement in the text.
Lionel Messi Age Error Fixed
An article titled “Ageless talisman spreads cheer with masterclass” (18 June, page 47) incorrectly stated that Lionel Messi was 19 when he scored his first goal for Argentina’s national football team. The correct age is 18. This error has been corrected.
