Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell was seen relaxing with a few drinks at a pub in Sale, Greater Manchester, the day before his wedding to Louise Gibbons. The 42-year veteran of the ITV soap, known for playing Kevin Webster, appeared in good spirits as he enjoyed the sunshine outside The Brook pub.
Le Vell has portrayed Kevin Webster since his first appearance on the show in October 1983, making him one of the longest-serving actors in the programme's history. Over the years, his character has faced numerous dramatic storylines, including an affair with Molly Dobbs, the breakdown of his marriage to Sally Webster, and a prostate cancer diagnosis.
More recently, viewers have seen Kevin discover his partner Abi Franklin's affair with his brother Carl, while Debbie Webster was diagnosed with early onset dementia and took responsibility for Carl's role in a fatal crash involving Billy Mayhew.
In his personal life, Le Vell has been with Louise Gibbons since 2014, the same year he checked into a rehabilitation facility. The couple became engaged in 2017 and are set to marry on Saturday, May 30, in an intimate ceremony.
The day before the wedding, Le Vell was photographed wearing a black t-shirt and beige shorts, with his legs up while taking a phone call. He later gave photographers a thumbs up as he left in the passenger seat of a car, carrying a gift bag.
Le Vell and Gibbons do not have children together, but the actor shares two children with his ex-wife, actress Janette Beverley, to whom he was married for 25 years.
