Coronation Street Fans Issue Ultimatum Over Jodie Ramsey Twist
Coronation Street Fans Demand Answers Over Jodie Twist

Coronation Street fans have issued an ultimatum to bosses after an "unsurprising" twist involving Jodie Ramsey was revealed on Wednesday night's episode of the soap.

Jodie Ramsey Unveiled as Truthteller

Daniel Osbourne has had malicious lies spread about him online, and it was revealed that Jodie Ramsey is behind the hate campaign. Jodie, introduced earlier this year as the long-lost sister of Shona Platt, has been exhibiting bizarre behaviour, including stealing odd items and breaking into houses. Recently, she targeted Daniel, who has been in a dark place after discovering his ex-girlfriend Megan Walsh was a paedophile.

During a lunch at the Bistro, Daniel confronted David Platt, accusing him of being the troll known as Truthteller. However, Daniel later realised his mistake. When he left the room to put a pizza in the oven, Jodie pulled out her phone and posted on social media app Tizzy, revealing herself as Truthteller.

Fan Reactions

Fans were not surprised by the twist and demanded answers. One fan wrote on X: "Is anyone actually surprised Jodie is 'truthteller'? She clearly just wants Daniel vulnerable so he depends on her. Why is she playing these mind games? Either give us answers or get her off our screens." Another said: "Aha I knew it was Jodie behind the account even before they showed her posting on it, it's just something she would do."

A third fan questioned: "What's the point of Jodie being so weird? Like I get it's fun for her but is that literally it? Is she like a sociopath?" A fourth raged: "Jodie is such a sneaky cow, like you act like you care about Daniel's emotional state and wanna give support. While you're the troll causing the mental damage. You only wanna help with his son Bertie, so you don't end up homeless."

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
