Chloe Madeley has taken to Instagram with a cryptic post aimed at 'c**p droppers', hours after her ex-husband James Haskell's mother criticised their marriage on television. The personal trainer, 38, shared a story on the platform venting about people who 'drop c**p' that others have to clean up, without naming anyone directly.
The post came shortly after an episode of Celebs Go Dating, where James Haskell's mother Susie made her feelings known about the breakdown of her son's marriage to Chloe. Susie claimed that the couple's relationship failed because 'you can't have two stars' competing for attention, and suggested James needed someone who could appreciate his intellect and softer side.
Chloe and James, who have a daughter named Bodhi, split in 2023 after five years of marriage. Despite the separation, James has spoken positively about Chloe, calling her 'intelligent, driven, generous' and a 'great mum', and confirmed that she gave him permission to appear on the dating show.
Chloe, daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, did not directly address Susie's comments but her Instagram story appeared to be a pointed response. She wrote: 'Does anyone else feel like there are just some people in life who you have to follow around with a dustpan and brush so you can sweep up all the c**p they keep dropping on the floor?'
