The live final of I'm a Celebrity... South Africa descended into chaos on Tuesday night as tensions boiled over between contestants, leading to two walk-offs and heated exchanges on stage. The drama unfolded just moments before actor Adam Thomas was crowned the winner, beating Mo Farah to become the Ultimate Legend.
During the final, former footballer Jimmy Bullard accused Adam of being 'abusive, aggressive, and intimidating' during their time in the jungle. He claimed Ant and Dec had 'front row seats' to the incident, adding that the show did not air the full extent of the swearing, which Ant confirmed was 'unbroadcastable'.
Sinitta was the first to storm off the stage, telling the audience: 'You guys weren't there, you don't know what happened.' She was followed by Gemma Collins, a vocal supporter of Adam, who appeared to say 'their behaviour's disgusting' as she exited, referring to how Adam was treated.
David Haye also became involved, interrupting Adam as he addressed the situation. Adam responded firmly: 'Will you just let the finalists speak,' a remark met with cheers. Dec added: 'You'd gone, you weren't even there,' prompting further applause.
Adam later apologised to Jimmy on social media, saying: 'I take full responsibility for my actions... That is not how I want to show myself off.' He added that he stayed true to himself throughout the journey, despite moments that 'could have broken me'.
