Brooklyn Beckham silent as siblings pay tribute to David on his 51st birthday

Brooklyn Beckham remained silent on social media as his younger siblings posted heartfelt tributes to their father David on his 51st birthday. The 27-year-old hot sauce creator and chef publicly distanced himself from his family in January, stating he was no longer part of 'Brand Beckham' and describing his parents and siblings as 'performative'.

In what appeared to be a pointed snub, Brooklyn's brothers Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and sister Harper, 14, joined their mother Victoria to surprise David with an unexpected gift: several hens. Victoria, 52, shared a clip on Instagram of the former footballer meeting the chickens and settling them into a coop on the family's £15 million Cotswolds estate.

In the footage, David wore a cowboy hat as he carefully lifted the hens from their boxes, smiling broadly. Victoria gushed from behind the camera: 'It's David's birthday and this is me and the kids bought him, from the boys, they're so pretty!' She captioned the post: 'Happy Birthday, we love you so much!!'

Romeo posted two nostalgic childhood photos on Instagram, writing: 'Happy birthday dad, love you so much, thank u for everything you do' and 'My best mate'. Cruz shared two snaps on his Instagram Story of him and his dad aboard a yacht, captioning them 'Happy birthday I love you xxx'. Harper wrote: 'Happy birthday to the best daddy in the whole world. I honestly could never ask for a better role model too... have the best day ever, you deserve everything'.

David previously received chickens as a Christmas gift from Victoria. The birthday tribute silence from Brooklyn comes after Victoria addressed the feud for the first time in a recent Wall Street Journal interview, saying she and David have always 'tried to protect and love our children'. Without naming Brooklyn, she added: 'We've been in the public eye for more than 30 years... all we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.'
