Bradley Walsh was playfully scolded by a member of staff during Friday's episode of his ITV show Breaking Dad after accidentally driving his RV onto a horse racing track during a live race in Brisbane.
The 65-year-old presenter and his son Barney, 28, were visiting Albion Park Harness Racing Club when Bradley took a wrong turn and ended up on the course, forcing horses to overtake the vehicle. Barney quickly realised the mistake, telling his father: 'I don't think we're supposed to be on this bit. I think we're on the racetrack right now.'
As the horses approached, a race commentator remarked: 'Is that, is that an RV on the course? I've never seen this before in my life!' Bradley saw the funny side, providing his own commentary: 'And they're coming up on the outside.' A mortified Barney replied: 'No, are you joking? Oh this is so embarrassing!'
After the blunder, the pair met staff member Jim, who jokingly scolded Bradley: 'What do you think you're doing? Mate, this is Albion Park Harness Racing Club! This is the metropolitan home and heart of harness racing here in Queensland!' Bradley apologised, saying he 'got carried away' and felt like he was 'in the Indy 500'.
