Adult entertainer Bonnie Blue has publicly shared her surprisingly positive experience of meeting the controversial internet figure Andrew Tate, offering a starkly different perspective to his widely reported public persona.
A Controversial Podcast Encounter
The pair met in June for an appearance on Rob Moore's Disruptor's podcast, a conversation that quickly made headlines. During the discussion, Tate, the 39-year-old former professional kickboxer with a record of 76 wins and 9 losses, suggested women would sleep with enemy soldiers in a hypothetical World War Three.
Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, shocked listeners by responding that she "would have f****d Hitler to survive." The 26-year-old then challenged Tate's views by arguing her own extreme sexual history, including a claim of being with 1,057 men in 24 hours, was a form of empowerment.
Blue's Unexpected Defence of Tate
Despite the inflammatory nature of the exchange, Bonnie Blue told the Daily Star she has no regrets about participating. She painted a picture of Tate as a respectful and considerate host, contrary to his toxic online brand.
"I actually don't regret doing the podcast at all," she stated. "He turned up early for the podcast, he shook my hand offered me a drink. He said: 'Let me know if there's anything I ask which you don't want or don't feel comfortable with,' and to me he was nothing but respectful. My encounter with him was nothing but positive."
Blue drew a direct parallel between the treatment she and Tate receive in the media, remarking, "Obviously Andrew gets a lot of bad press, but so do I."
Contrasting Public Image with Personal Experience
She illustrated this point by recounting a conversation with her father, who warned her against the interview based on Tate's online clips. Blue's retort highlighted her own experience of media distortion.
"I said: 'Dad, imagine if you didn't know me and you saw all the press around me and someone said they were coming to meet me, you'd probably say the exact same. But you know me, so you know those things aren't true,'" she explained.
Her conclusion from the experience was clear: "The one thing I've learned about what you read online, it doesn't mean they're like that in person, it doesn't mean what's in the press is always true."
This defence comes as Andrew Tate prepares for a return to combat sports. He is scheduled to fight reigning champion Chase DeMoor for the Misfits Boxing heavyweight title in Dubai this Saturday, with the main event around 10pm GMT.
It also unfolds against a serious legal backdrop. In May, UK prosecutors confirmed 21 charges that will apply when Tate and his brother Tristan return to the country, including allegations of actual bodily harm, controlling prostitution for gain, human trafficking, and rape.
Bonnie Blue herself was recently in the news after being deported from Indonesia and blacklisted from Bali for recording explicit content with tourists.
