In a jaw-dropping courtroom drama, two women have discovered they were both married to the same man – and are now locked in a bitter fight over his £1.2 million estate.
The extraordinary case came to light after the death of the bigamist husband, whose double life was only exposed when both wives turned up to claim their inheritance.
The Shocking Discovery
Wife A, who married the man in 2005, believed she was in a happy marriage until his sudden death. Meanwhile, Wife B had wed the same man in a separate ceremony in 2015, completely unaware of his existing marriage.
"It's been absolutely devastating," Wife A told the court. "To find out my husband had another wife – and now she wants half of everything we built together."
