Britain's Got Talent fans believe they have already identified the winner of the 2026 series after just one semi-final. The live semi-finals began on Saturday night, with acts competing for a place in the live final. Each week, two acts are sent through to the finale.
On Saturday, the first two finalists were confirmed. Anastasiia and her border collie Salsa won the first public vote, while singer Matty Juniosa received a Golden Buzzer from judge Amanda Holden, securing his place in the final.
Following Matty's performance, fans quickly took to social media to predict his victory. One fan wrote: 'What a voice. Matty has to win he is sensational.' Another said: 'Making an early prediction that Matty will win this series, rightfully so!'
A third added: 'Soooo stunning. This has to be the BGT winner!!!' Others echoed the sentiment, with one commenting: 'Definitely BGT winner 2026 he is just incredible well done Matty.'
The show also featured an awkward moment when Simon Cowell told host Dec Donnelly 'I'm still talking' after Dec tried to move on from judges' feedback. Fans criticised Simon, with one saying: 'I'm still talking? F**k off Simon.'
