Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham could be set for an awkward reunion at Monday's Met Gala, as the family feud shows no signs of abating. Brooklyn, 27, has attended the event three times with his wife Nicola Peltz, while Romeo, 23, is thought to be attending for the first time after being spotted at a pre-Met Gala party on Saturday.
The potential meeting comes after Brooklyn released a scathing Instagram statement in January, blaming his mother Victoria for making Nicola cry on their wedding day and claiming she tried to upstage the bride. Since then, Brooklyn has stayed silent on his own family's celebrations, instead focusing on his life in the US with Nicola.
This was evident on Saturday when Brooklyn failed to acknowledge his father David's 51st birthday, while his siblings shared gushing messages online. Despite the snub, David expressed gratitude for his family, writing on Instagram: "I feel very lucky & blessed to have had a very special day today being spoilt by my wife, kids, family and friends."
If both brothers attend the Met Gala, it will be the first time they have been in the same venue since the feud became public. Whether they will interact remains to be seen, but the tension is palpable as the Beckham family rift continues.
