However, hosts Ant and Dec announced a surprise twist: Adam was allowed to continue after his campmates agreed it was unfair. Scarlett Moffatt added: "He does deserve it. It was hard in there, and he was amazing, and he was a friend to us all. It is really disheartening that he didn't get to have that moment of glory."
Gemma Collins echoed the sentiment: "The best man won! It was positive. What is such a shame about tonight? I'm just going to tell it how it is. We had such an amazing experience in there. We had a ball. It was tough, it was raw, it was hard. But it was fun. I just don't get where the negativity is coming from."
