Former TOWIE star James Argent has paid an emotional tribute to his co-star Jake Hall, who died suddenly at the age of 35. Argent, 38, shared a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, describing Hall as 'one of a kind' with 'infectious energy.'
Argent's Tribute
In the video, Argent reflected on a photoshoot Hall organized after Argent achieved a significant weight-loss goal. 'He was so proud of me,' Argent wrote. 'He organised a full shoot with a videographer/photographer using his own clothing designs at his studio in east London.' Argent recalled feeling unsure about the shoot, but Hall insisted, wanting him to feel good about himself. 'He gave me so much confidence. He spent the day raising me up. We didn't stop laughing and had so much fun together. I'm so lucky to have this beautiful memory.'
Argent added, 'Jake had infectious energy and was one of a kind. Love and miss my mate so much.' The post garnered support from fans and former co-stars, including Billie Shepherd, Danielle Armstrong, and Ferne McCann.
Hall's Career and Legacy
Hall joined the TOWIE cast in 2015 and dated co-star Chloe Lewis before leaving the show in 2024. He also ran his own menswear label, By Jake Hall. Tributes have poured in from celebrities, including Ryan Thomas, who shared a video montage and praised Hall as 'always the coolest guy in the room.' Thomas also paid tribute to Hall's eight-year-old daughter River, promising she would grow up surrounded by love and stories about her father.
Hall's ex-partner, Misse Beqiri, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying she loved him from 'the very first moment I saw you' and that their daughter River would ensure his legacy lives on. Other tributes came from Vas J Morgan, Akin Solanke, and DJ Fat Tony, who called Hall's death a 'devastating loss.'
