Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Spotted with Bruise After Weeks Out of Public Eye

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the disgraced former Duke of York, has been photographed for the first time in weeks, appearing with a large bruise on his right cheek. He was seen driving his Land Rover near his Marsh Farm home on the Sandringham Estate, wearing a pink shirt and blue jacket.

The sighting follows a security scare last month in which a man allegedly wearing a balaclava and wielding a weapon approached Andrew while he was walking his dogs. The suspect, Alex Jenkinson, 39, was arrested and has pleaded not guilty. He is due to stand trial at Westminster Magistrates Court on July 29, with Andrew expected to give evidence via videolink.

Andrew has also been absent from public view since Thames Valley Police announced an investigation into allegations that he behaved inappropriately towards a woman at Royal Ascot in 2002. The force stated that it is following all reasonable lines of inquiry and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The misconduct in public office investigation continues, with detectives examining a significant amount of information. Andrew was arrested on suspicion of this offence on his 66th birthday in February and remains under investigation. He has consistently denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
