Amir Khan Denies Blackmail and Secret Sex Tape Allegations

Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom are facing accusations of blackmail and making threats, according to High Court documents. The boxing champion has denied claims that he made a secret sex tape and sent unsolicited nude photos to women. The couple have launched a libel lawsuit against solicitor Faryaal Hussain after she made the allegations on a podcast in 2023.

The 39-year-old former world champion is seeking up to £100,000 in damages, calling the claims false, malicious, and unproven. Hussain's 21-page defence, filed in May, details allegations that Khan recorded a woman during an intimate act and later made an 'aggressive' phone call to her. Another woman was allegedly promised £20,000 by Khan after he began messaging her in 2023, with the boxer reportedly warning that exposure would jeopardise his ITV reality show Meet the Khans.

Khan's wife, Faryal, is also accused of making threats. The couple will likely be required to give evidence if the case proceeds to trial. David Lemer, barrister for Hussain, stated that his client acted out of genuine concern for public safety and did not seek to profit from the allegations. No trial date has yet been set.
