A 72-year-old British woman living in Spain has described her shock after an Amazon delivery driver entered her home and masturbated in her bedroom, only for the same courier to return two days later with another package.
The woman, identified as Jane, had ordered mosquito repellent via Amazon Marketplace. On 15 July, a courier in his 20s arrived at her home on the Costa Brava. After she buzzed him in, she found him in her bedroom with his hand in his shorts. 'He was masturbating vigorously,' she said. 'He turned his back and it was apparent that he ejaculated.'
Jane reported the incident to police and Amazon. Spanish police have taken a suspected semen sample as part of their investigation. Despite her complaint, the same two couriers returned two days later to deliver another Amazon package. 'I felt very vulnerable,' she said.
Amazon stated the courier was not an employee but a contractor for a local seller. Jane has criticised the company's response, saying its helpline was not equipped to handle sexual abuse. She has demanded better safeguards for customers.
