Premier League Predictor: Did You Beat Craig Hope?

How did you fare against our experts in Daily Mail Sport's Predictor challenge this weekend in the Premier League? And did you manage to outscore Craig Hope?

There were many of you who successfully predicted all seven outcomes last week, congratulations to the 24 participants who passed with flying colours.

Brighton kicked off the gameweek with a commanding 3-0 victory over Chelsea, which ultimately sealed Liam Rosenior's fate as the Blues' manager. Wednesday featured a hard-fought draw between Bournemouth and Leeds, ending 2-2, while Manchester City narrowly secured a 1-0 win at Burnley, keeping the title race incredibly tight.

On the weekend, Alexander Isak scored his first Premier League goal for Liverpool, setting his side on course for an emphatic 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace. This win ensures the Anfield club remains on track for Champions League qualification despite a turbulent season.

Expert Predictions

Craig Hope is the Daily Mail Sport expert to beat this week. His predictions were:

  • Brighton v Chelsea - HOME WIN - 1pt
  • Bournemouth v Leeds - DRAW - 1pt
  • Burnley v Man City - AWAY WIN - 1pt
  • Liverpool v Crystal Palace - HOME WIN - 1pt
  • West Ham v Everton - HOME WIN - 1pt
  • Wolves v Tottenham - DRAW - 0pts
  • Arsenal v Newcastle - HOME WIN - 1pt

There was late drama at the bottom of the table, with Callum Wilson's stoppage-time winner against Everton negating Tottenham's first win of 2026 over already-relegated Wolves, keeping Roberto De Zerbi's side in the drop zone.

Finally, Arsenal scraped a nervy 1-0 victory over Newcastle to return to the top of the table, thanks to Eberechi Eze's ninth-minute goal.

Craig scored a commendable six points, only missing full marks by predicting a draw between Wolves and Tottenham. He placed among the highest scoring experts this week, alongside James Sharpe, Lewis Steele, and Jack Gaughan, all with six points.

Sharpe is closing in on the Daily Mail expert title with 102 points after 29 rounds of predictions, four ahead of Gaughan.
