The Duchess of Sussex has received no votes in a new Daily Express poll asking readers which royal they find most relatable, a fresh blow as she settles back into life in the UK.
Meghan, who married Prince Harry in 2018, has been back living in Britain for over a month. The poll ran from 7am on September 28 until 9.30am on October 1 and asked readers which royal they thought was the most relatable.

In an absolute blow to Meghan, the poll found that 0% found her the most relatable royal. Her husband Prince Harry scored higher, with 3% of voters finding him to be the most relatable royal.
The poll also found that most people found Princess Catherine to be the most relatable, with the future queen securing 44% of the votes. The second most relatable royal, as voted by Express readers, was Princess Anne, followed by Prince William.
Background and public perception
The Duchess of Sussex has been the subject of controversy for many years. Less than two years after marrying Harry, the couple decided to quit royal life and move to the US. This resulted in many people holding Meghan accountable for this decision - something Harry has denied.
After leaving the UK six years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex became even more controversial as they took part in the Oprah Winfrey interview and their own Netflix show, in which they criticised the Royal Family. This led many British people to feel angry towards Harry and Meghan, with some of these feelings still persisting today.

Meghan's low ranking is likely to be a blow to the Duchess, who will no doubt want to improve her relationship with the British public now that she is back living in the country. Since moving back to the UK, Meghan has shared some videos and photographs of the family enjoying time in the countryside, which could be a bid to show her relatable side.
This includes videos of her children cycling and running, and of her splashing in a muddy puddle. Another clip shows Harry fishing with his two children on a lake.
While Meghan has been spotted out and about in the UK, she is yet to make any public appearances. This is despite the fact that Harry has stepped out at many events in and around London.
