Arsenal Title Prediction After Man City's FA Cup Win

Arsenal are in a fierce battle with Manchester City for the Premier League title, and City's recent FA Cup triumph at Wembley could have significant implications. Former defender Micah Richards has suggested that the victory might inject renewed confidence into Pep Guardiola's squad as they chase the league crown.

FA Cup Victory and Title Implications

Manchester City secured a 1-0 win over Bournemouth in the FA Cup final on Saturday, courtesy of a skillful finish from Antoine Semenyo. This adds another trophy to Guardiola's collection, but the Premier League remains within reach. City trail Arsenal by two points with only two matches left in the season.

Speaking on BBC Sport, Richards commented: "They are in with a chance, and that is all that matters. Confidence-wise, yes, because they can now focus solely on the league. But we will see."

City's Remaining Fixtures

City have two games remaining: an away match against Bournemouth on Tuesday, followed by a final-day clash with Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Arsenal face Burnley on Monday and then Crystal Palace, who are preparing for the Conference League final, on the last day.

Bernardo Silva's Warning

Outgoing City star Bernardo Silva has warned Arsenal not to underestimate his side. After the FA Cup win, he said: "It is very special. I am really happy. Everything about my journey here at Man City has been fantastic. Hopefully we can still have a small dream of fighting for the Premier League."

Silva added: "Today we are very happy. It is special for me, in my last season, to give them another trophy. Hopefully, it is not the last one. Since I arrived, I have won 20 trophies, so it is not bad. That was a fantastic goal. In a final, there are no favourites. They started strongly in the second half, putting us under pressure."

Speaking further to TNT Sports, the Portuguese midfielder emphasized: "It would mean a lot. It is not in our hands, but our job is to do our job on Wednesday and put pressure on Arsenal to win the game to be champions. We are in a tough position."

Title Race Scenarios

City need Arsenal to drop at least two points over their final two games to have any chance of reclaiming the title. In contrast, Arsenal know that two victories from their remaining matches will end their long wait for the Premier League crown.
