Fresh photos have surfaced showing Donald Trump aide Natalie Harp sprinting after his golf cart at his Scottish resort, just days after bizarre letters she wrote confessing her devotion to him were made public.

Images spark questions over close bond

The images have sparked huge questions about the 35-year-old executive assistant's unusually close bond with the US President. Harp, dubbed the "human printer", is known for constantly handing Trump printed-out glowing news stories and cherry-picked poll numbers, effectively filtering what information reaches him.

It's also claimed she has left a string of "intimate" notes for Trump to find, telling him "You are all that matters to me," and "I don't ever want to let you down…I want to bring you joy", The Mirror writes.

Letter apologises for 2023 incident

Another letter, published on Thursday evening (August 20) by the US website The Daily Beast, appeared to feature the assistant apologising to Trump for a 2023 incident in which she followed him around his golf course at Turnberry, Ayrshire, on foot instead of riding in a golf cart.

She wrote that she was sorry "if I was an embarrassment walking the course in Scotland", adding "If there is anything else I have done to cause you trouble, please forgive me...I want things to always be right between us....you are all that matters to me. I don't want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life."

Harp explains walking on course

On Friday, The Mirror published images showing Harp, 45 years Trump's junior, sprinting uphill behind Trump's golf cart on the first day of his trip to Turnberry on May 2, 2023. Either during or shortly after the visit, Harp explained in another letter to the U.S President that she was "told there were no carts, and people walked, which is why I walked."

The second day, I was specifically asked by, I forget who his name was, but one of the main people who worked there, if I could continue walking, and tell any other girls who would head out there to do the same to spare the Course any more Carts. If there is anything else I have done to cause you trouble, please forgive me."

Harp, a former presenter for the right-wing streaming channel One America News Network, appeared in the public eye last week following comments made by rising Democrat Senator Jon Ossoff in a speech. Ossoff drew attention to an episode in which Donald Trump selected Harp to accompany him on a covert flight out of Turkey, after an alleged Iranian assassination threat prompted him to abandon Air Force One.

Only Harp, two other aides and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth travelled with Trump on the escape aircraft, while the press corps and several cabinet members were diverted onto a decoy Air Force One.

"He doesn't want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenceless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar," Ossoff said in the speech.

White House role and security clearances

Harp, a White House stalwart, reportedly works seven days a week and acts as a gatekeeper to those wanting to speak with Trump. The Mirror adds that she is thought to have access to his communications and social media accounts, often helping him craft posts on Truth Social.

MSN OW alleged this week that she had worked in the White House for more than a year without seeking routine security clearances, which have since been granted. Harp first drew Donald Trump's attention after she publicly credited him with saving her life.

She has said that legislation he signed during his first term enabled her to access experimental treatment for bone cancer. She later joined his 2024 campaign operation and is reported to have gone to extraordinary lengths to remain close to the President, including allegedly sleeping in the women's locker room at his Bedminster golf resort in New Jersey for an entire summer when she was not provided a hotel room. Harp is also said to have travelled in the boot of an SUV on occasion to stay within Trump's orbit.
