Coleen Rooney and Luisa Zissman have expressed their pride as their teenage children received their GCSE results on Thursday.
Rooney's Son Kai Secures Sixth Form Place
Rooney posted a photo of herself alongside her eldest son Kai, who sat his exams this year. She wrote: “GCSE results day! Super proud @KaiRooney.10 …Great results especially with a busy schedule, all passed and a place in 6th form!! We love you.”
Kai is Rooney’s eldest child with retired footballer Wayne Rooney. They are also parents to Klay, 13, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight. The 16-year-old has been following in his dad’s footsteps and currently plays for Manchester United’s Under 18s squad.
Rooney herself left school with 10 GCSEs, including an A* in performing arts.
Zissman's Daughter Dixie Exceeds Expectations
Former The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman posted a video of her daughter Dixie, 16, opening her results. She wrote: “I’m so proud of my baby. She is amazing, hard work pays off and she worked so hard to achieve the results she wanted and exceeded everyone’s expectations!
“Dixie Lola you’re a rockstar never stop pushing, never stop working hard & achieving your dreams and goals, I could burst with pride.”
Earlier in the day, Zissman admitted she was nervous about her daughters’ results. She said: “This is the day, I’m praying because my 16-year-old wants to try and get into another 6th form which she needed pretty good grades for.
“I think I’m more nervous than her. When you actually do work hard at something, if you don’t achieve that it’s a bit of sucker punch, and she really did work hard.”
Zissman shares Dixie with her first husband Oliver Zissman. She is also mother to Indigo, nine, and Clementine, eight, with her businessman husband Andrew Collins.
