Detroit Lions Star Terrion Arnold Implicated in Retaliatory Kidnapping and Armed Robbery Plot

Detroit Lions standout Terrion Arnold has been sensationally connected to a retaliatory scheme involving the armed robbery and kidnapping of three men at a Tampa apartment complex. The explosive allegations emerged this week in a detailed seven-page court order issued by Hillsborough County Circuit Judge J. Logan Murphy.

Alleged Vigilante Justice Following Costly Burglaries

The 22-year-old NFL star allegedly pursued vigilante justice alongside associates after being targeted in two separate burglaries while staying at a Florida Airbnb rental property. On February 3, the 2024 first-round draft pick reportedly suffered losses including $100,000 in cash, an $80,000 necklace, and a cellphone issued by the Detroit Lions organization.

The armed robbery and kidnapping were a direct result of Arnold and his friends deciding to take matters into their own hands, Judge Murphy's order explicitly stated. Rather than allowing law enforcement to investigate and retrieve the stolen property, the co-defendants sought vigilante justice by kidnapping the victims for over an hour, interrogating them, beating them, and threatening them with a gun barrel in the mouth.

Chilling Details of the Alleged Ambush

According to court documents, the retaliatory strike involved a carefully orchestrated armed ambush where one victim had a gun barrel forcibly inserted into his mouth. Following the burglaries, Arnold reportedly grew suspicious of his private driver, Yan Lopez, leading to a complex plot allegedly involving multiple participants.

Prosecutors claim that Arnold's girlfriend, Arianna Del Valle, and another woman named Jasmine Randazzo were used as bait to lure Lopez and two other individuals—Daniel Tenesaca and Soljah Anderson—to the Tampa apartment. Upon arrival, Tenesaca and Anderson entered the property while Lopez remained in the vehicle outside.

Violent Confrontation and Hostage Situation

Once inside the apartment, two men—Lyndell Hudson and Christion Williams—allegedly emerged from a closet armed with an AR-style rifle and a handgun, immediately confronting Tenesaca and Anderson. The victims were reportedly held captive for over an hour, subjected to beatings and pistol-whipping as the group demanded the return of Arnold's stolen property.

They took Tenesaca and Anderson hostage in the bedroom, interrogating, beating, and pistol-whipping them for the better part of an hour, the court order detailed. According to the documents, Arnold's girlfriend was allegedly on FaceTime during the harrowing encounter, with Randazzo and Boakai Eugene Hilton—a supposed friend of Arnold—reportedly joining the call to watch and direct actions against the victims.

Escalation of Violence and Additional Victims

After growing suspicious, Lopez allegedly entered the apartment where he was promptly pistol-whipped to the back of the head and taken into the bedroom. One of the co-defendants stuck the barrel of his firearm into Lopez's mouth, demanding he return the stolen property and Arnold's phone, Judge Murphy wrote in the order.

Before the victims were released, the assailants reportedly confiscated their phones and wallets. This was all done ostensibly to get Lopez, Tenesaca, and Anderson to admit that they stole the property from the Airbnb, which they never do. Indeed, there is no evidence that any of the victims are involved in the theft, the court documents emphasized.

Legal Consequences for Alleged Participants

Del Valle (18), Randazzo (19), Hudson (25), and Williams (24) have been arrested and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping, remaining in jail according to Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office records. Hilton faces three counts of kidnapping to harm or terrorize and three counts of robbery with a firearm—all first-degree felonies punishable by life imprisonment—to which he has pleaded not guilty.

While Arnold was allegedly present during discussions about the plot, prosecutors have not accused him of directly participating in the violence. The Detroit Lions star has not been charged or arrested in connection with the incident. Arnold, who completed his second year with Detroit in 2025, remains a prominent figure in the NFL as a first-round selection from the 2024 draft.
