Labour's Roy Hattersley Dies at 93: A Life in Pictures

Roy Hattersley, the Labour MP for Birmingham Sparkbrook for 32 years and former deputy leader of the party, has died aged 93.

A Political Life

Hattersley first gained his seat in 1964 and served as MP until 1997. He was deputy leader under Neil Kinnock from 1983 to 1992, forming the so-called 'dream ticket'.

He was also a prolific author, writing 22 books, including a biography of John Wesley.
