Rob Gronkowski's Epic WrestleMania Celebration with Father in Las Vegas
Former NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski unleashed his inner party animal during an unforgettable WrestleMania celebration in Las Vegas on Sunday night. The legendary tight end hosted Gronk Beach, the official afterparty for WrestleMania 42, in partnership with DoorDash, creating a spectacle that will be remembered by all who attended.
A Night of Wild Revelry and Family Fun
The 36-year-old retired football player didn't hold back as he toasted the WWE headline event in true Sin City style. In exclusive video captured by the Daily Mail, Gronkowski was seen clambering onto the stage and pulling out some incredibly wild dance moves that electrified the crowd.
With microphone firmly clasped in hand, Gronkowski bopped energetically across the stage, hyping up the enthusiastic audience. The atmosphere reached a peak when a replica Lombardi trophy appeared from somewhere in the crowd - an item Gronkowski knows well from his championship-winning career.
Hilarious Trophy Mishap and Shirtless Antics
However, Gronkowski was left hilariously dismayed when he discovered the trophy commemorated the Denver Broncos' victory over the Atlanta Falcons, rather than one of his many championships with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
'Wait what the f*** is this?' he exclaimed upon reading the inscription. 'Broncos 34, Falcons 19? F*** this Lombardi trophy!' In a moment of pure theatricality, he then spiked the trophy, sending it crashing to the stage floor and eliciting shocked gasps from the audience.
At one point, the four-time Super Bowl winner whipped off his shirt and paraded shirtless in front of the DJ booth, embracing the wild spirit of the evening completely.
Like Father, Like Son: The Gronkowski Family Spirit
Watching from the sidelines was his 65-year-old father, Gordon Gronkowski, who fully embraced the wild festivities despite his age. Gordon jokingly admitted to the Daily Mail that his son definitely inherited his inner party animal from him, not from his mother.
'He was a wild man,' Gordon said of his son during childhood, speaking in partnership with DoorDash and Medium Rare. 'He was fearless, he was a wild man, and to see him up here doing all this, I wasn't one bit surprised. He was always the first one in the pack to do everything. He was fearless and it doesn't surprise me at all what he's doing.'
Gordon even joined his son on stage at one point, putting that wild family spirit on full display. 'It's not my first time,' he said laughing. 'I'll tell you, though, I didn't have the happy feet yet. I'll be [back] up there before the end of the night.'
Celebrity Guests and WWE Future Possibilities
Gordon observed his son's wild antics from the side next to Gronkowski's girlfriend, Camille Kostek. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model was seen waving a giant cardboard cutout of her NFL beau's face before later joining in on the action with some raunchy dance moves of her own.
During the vibrant event, Gronkowski became embroiled in an impromptu wrestling match with Barstool personality Mike Katic onstage in front of the DJ booth, adding to the evening's unpredictable entertainment.
When asked about potentially making an official WWE appearance in the ring in the future, Gronkowski didn't rule it out. 'I won't ever rule anything out because I've done so many things with the WWE,' he told the Daily Mail. 'You know, in my past, I was a 24/7 champion. They're great people. I love working with them. They're first class - everything I've ever done with WWE - so I would never rule it out.'
Tom Brady WWE Speculation and Event Details
Gronkowski also teased that his close friend and former teammate Tom Brady could be prepared to step into the ring and show his nemesis Logan Paul how it's done. 'It makes sense because Tom and Logan Paul have been beefing for about two to three months now,' the former tight end said.
'I thought they were going to fight at the flag football game, but it just didn't come to that situation, which is good. We didn't need any fights on that flag football field. It's a friendly game, it's a family game but I thought they would take it out here at WrestleMania, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's here, but I don't know if he is or not.'
Before the afterparty action got underway, Gronkowski was spotted on the Vegas strip interacting with fans. In partnership with DoorDash and Medium Rare, he played a game with fans in front of the Fountains of Bellagio to see what they had in their bags, with DoorDash vouchers being awarded as prizes.
The entire event served as the official afterparty of WrestleMania, sponsored by DoorDash, creating a perfect blend of sports entertainment and celebrity revelry that only Las Vegas could host.
