Prince William is said to be siding with his father, King Charles, regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future in the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are relocating to Britain six years after leaving the country and the Royal Family, aiming to build a new, financially independent life in America.
Following the announcement that the Sussexes will return to Britain later this month, new reports claim the heir will likely be "furious" about his brother's return and that he completely sides with the King over Harry and Meghan not becoming working royals.
Former royal butler on William's stance
Former royal butler Grant Harrold told The Independent: "William will be furious. Harry has said some extraordinary things about the family. William is somebody that when you break trust and you go beyond a certain point, there's no going back."
Royal sources on the King's position
Royal sources told the Mirror that William is "completely united" with the King in not allowing the Sussexes to achieve a "half-in, half-out" role within the monarchy, after spending years speaking against it.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace have issued any statements on the Sussexes' return.
