New video footage shows President Donald Trump appearing to walk unsteadily toward Marine One, prompting renewed online speculation about his health and toilet habits. The 80-year-old has departed for Texas and Oklahoma, kicking off his 32-day campaign trail ahead of the US Midterms.
Wobbly walk compared to broken shopping cart
In multiple videos uploaded to X, Trump appeared wobbly while walking, "zig-zagging" and "weaving" towards the aircraft. One observer commented: "OMG – Trump can't walk in a straight line on his way to Marine One."
The short clip has accumulated 33,000 views and numerous responses, with some suggesting Trump's "right leg isn't cooperating". Another questioned: "Has he lost all his peripheral vision? He can't see the edge of the path until he's almost walked off. It's also why he never knows who is sitting next to him." A third remarked: "They're gonna have to put rails on that sidewalk to keep him from going off of it."
Confusion and odour allegations
Others highlighted that the President looked confused as he approached the aircraft. One said: "I'm impressed he can remember to salute that Marine." Another wondered: "When he stopped to talk, was he asking if he got on the right helicopter?"
Alongside questions about his health and mental condition, speculation about Trump's toilet habits re-emerged. There have been rumours that he has battled with incontinence for years – and these aren't running out of steam.
In 2023, former Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger sparked discussion when he posted on social media, alleging that the President emits a potent and offensive smell. Kinzinger wrote: "I'm genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven't talked about the odour. It's truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can."
During a September 2024 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kinzinger elaborated on this, characterising the aroma as a combination of "armpits, ketchup, makeup, and a little butt". Comedian Kathy Griffin, who had a brief stint on The Apprentice, reinforced this during an interview with Mary Trump. She claimed he emits a "distinct smell," portraying it as "like body odour with kind of like a scented makeup product".
Nappy rumours persist
Nevertheless, the most revolting allegation of all is that Trump reeks like poo. This became a viral meme after his loyal aide, Natalie Harp, was spotted carrying a massive bag. Theorists think Natalie's black carrier could be harbouring nappies for her boss – and the President's awkward walk is doing nothing to quell these embarrassing conversations.
One onlooker joked: "Try walking in a straight line with a fully loaded diaper." Another chuckled: "His diaper is full, but Natalie to the rescue with her bag." So, it looks like that rumour isn't going anywhere.
