Apple TV has released the first trailer for Season 2 of the neo-noir mystery series 'Sugar', starring Colin Farrell. The new season premieres on June 19.
The series follows private investigator John Sugar as he investigates the disappearance of an up-and-coming local boxer's older brother, while continuing his search for his own missing sister. According to the logline, the investigation expands into a sinister, city-wide conspiracy, forcing Sugar to reckon with how far he will go to do what is right.
New cast members for Season 2 include Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, and Sasha Calle, with a special guest appearance by Shea Whigham.
Sam Catlin serves as showrunner and executive produces under his Short Drive Entertainment banner. Audrey Chon, Simon Kinberg, Farrell, Scott Greenberg, and Chip Vucelich also executive produce.
