Mark Levin Brands Megyn Kelly 'Grandma Groyper' in Explosive MAGA Feud
Levin calls Megyn Kelly 'degenerate bigot' in MAGA feud

A bitter public feud between two prominent conservative media figures has intensified dramatically, offering a stark window into the ongoing internal conflicts within the MAGA movement. Fox News host and Trump advisor Mark Levin launched a blistering personal attack on former colleague and podcaster Megyn Kelly this week, branding her a "degenerate bigot" and the "queen of the modern Klan."

The Core of the Conflict: Alliances and Accusations

The dispute centres on Kelly's refusal to denounce controversial far-right figures Candace Owens and Jack Posobiec. Owens has recently faced widespread condemnation for promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories regarding the assassination of Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk. Kelly, however, has stood by Owens and even claimed credit for facilitating a "detente" between Owens and Kirk's widow, Erika.

This stance drew sharp criticism from pro-Israel conservatives, including commentator Ben Shapiro, who accused Kelly of "cowardice." Kelly retaliated by arguing that Shapiro and others were themselves fomenting antisemitism through their staunch pro-Israeli positions. The schism widened when Levin labelled conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec a "crackpot," prompting both Kelly and Posobiec to accuse Levin of anti-Catholic bias.

Personal Attacks and Past Scandals Resurface

Levin's response, posted on social media platform X, quickly escalated beyond political disagreement into deeply personal territory. He resurrected Kelly's controversial departure from NBC News in 2018, following a segment where she defended the use of blackface. "Meg Kelly, whose ratings were so bad on NBC she became a laughingstock, was canned for promoting blackface on Halloween," Levin wrote.

He directly linked this past to her current associations: "You see, she was always a degenerate bigot. This is why she's cool with Candace Owens and Jack Posobiec." Levin, who has also been engaged in a lengthy feud with Tucker Carlson, further labelled Kelly part of the "Woke Reich" and infamously dubbed her "Grandma Groyper," a reference to followers of white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

Kelly's Counterattack and a Deepening Rift

Kelly did not take the insults lying down. She fired back with a scathing assessment of Levin's own career, suggesting his anger stemmed from professional jealousy. "You're an old, irrelevant, bitter, angry man who could never make it in the Fox News primetime," she retorted. "We used to laugh at you there for your red-faced tantrums."

Levin doubled down, mocking Kelly's career trajectory and her communication style. "They call you Grandma Groyper. Why? Because you're a bigot," he continued in a follow-up post on Wednesday 31 December 2025. "You drop the f-bomb in every other sentence because you think it's edgy and cool. You're neither." He concluded by stating, "You are the company you keep. Look at yours. Owens, Carlson, Posobiec, and on and on."

This vitriolic exchange is more than a simple personality clash; it is a microcosm of the MAGA civil war that has erupted publicly in recent weeks. The factions are divided over issues including Tucker Carlson's interview with Nick Fuentes, the spread of antisemitic conspiracy theories, and the very direction of the movement post-Trump. The Levin-Kelly feud underscores how these ideological battles are being fought through personal vilification, with past scandals weaponised and loyalties fiercely contested, revealing deep and potentially irreparable fractures within conservative media and politics.
