Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has travelled to Moscow where he met Errol Musk, father of tech billionaire Elon Musk. The activist shared a video of their meeting at a Moscow hotel on Monday.
Robinson, who has been calling for supporters to protest across the UK after a knife attack in Belfast, said he went to Russia to see how the country had become a 'civilised society'. He dismissed the idea that Russia is a hostile state, claiming that narrative has 'died a natural death'.
His visit comes three weeks after a rally he organised in London drew tens of thousands. Earlier this year, he met a Trump administration official in the US and secured funding from wealthy American backers. Robinson has previously visited Russia in 2020, where he called for cooperation on Christian values.
Andrew Tate, the misogynistic influencer, is also in Russia with his brother. The Russian regime has courted western far-right figures, amplifying Kremlin messaging. Labour MP Calvin Bailey called the visits 'deadly serious', warning that political warfare is central to Russian aggression against the UK and Europe.
