A major security operation unfolded at one of London's busiest transport hubs on Tuesday afternoon after a man chained himself to a station railing with his dog in a dramatic solo protest against the Iranian regime.
The incident, which took place at King's Cross station just after 3:30 PM, prompted a significant emergency service response. British Transport Police, alongside paramedics and fire crews, rushed to the scene as station operations were partially disrupted.
Eyewitnesses described a tense atmosphere as the man, who carried a sign referencing Iran's political prisoners, secured himself and his canine companion to railings within the station concourse. The unusual nature of the protest—involving the welfare of an animal—presented unique challenges for authorities.
