Two men have been charged with religiously aggravated harassment over allegations they travelled to a predominantly Jewish area in north London to film antisemitic social media videos for TikTok.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced that Adam Bedoui, 20, and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, 21, were due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The charges stem from incidents where Jewish residents in Stamford Hill were allegedly approached, harassed, and filmed without consent.
Details of the Charges
Bedoui and Bousloub, both from West Drayton, Hillingdon, west London, face two charges each: religiously aggravated intentional harassment under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, and intentional harassment under the Public Order Act 1986. The CPS emphasised that the alleged actions were targeted at individuals due to their Jewish faith.
CPS Statement
Huw Rogers, chief crown prosecutor for CPS Direct, stated: “The Crown Prosecution Service has decided to charge Adam Bedoui and Abdelkadir Amir Bousloub with religiously aggravated intentional harassment and intentional harassment following an incident where Jewish people in Stamford Hill were being approached, harassed and filmed.”
Rogers added that the CPS worked closely with the Metropolitan Police throughout the investigation. “Our team of out-of-hours prosecutors from CPS Direct worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring charges and it is in the public interest to pursue criminal proceedings,” he said.
The prosecutor reminded the public that the defendants have the right to a fair trial and urged against any reporting or online commentary that could prejudice the proceedings.
Background
Stamford Hill is home to a large Orthodox Jewish community and has been a target for antisemitic incidents in the past. The Metropolitan Police have been investigating the alleged harassment, which involved filming victims for social media content. The case highlights ongoing concerns about hate crimes and the misuse of online platforms to spread antisemitism.
