Investigators searching for missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie are actively reviewing new Ring doorbell camera footage from a neighbour that shows vehicles travelling near her Tucson-area home on the night she was abducted, the Pima County Sheriff's Office has confirmed.
The development comes as authorities confirmed that a man arrested for driving under the influence outside Guthrie's home on Thursday night is not connected to her disappearance. The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Antonio De Jesus Pena-Campos, faces misdemeanour DUI charges.
The FBI continues to analyse up to 10,000 hours of surveillance footage. One clip, obtained by Fox News Digital, shows a car driving down a street approximately two-and-a-half miles from Guthrie's home at around 2:30am on the night she vanished – a timeframe consistent with when the abduction is believed to have occurred. While a source told TMZ the FBI has reviewed the footage and determined it yields no useful leads, the sheriff's office urged homeowners in surrounding areas to submit any footage not yet provided.
Guthrie was abducted from her Catalina Foothills home on 1 February. Officials have cleared all family members as suspects. The investigation command post is moving from Tucson to Phoenix, though some FBI agents will remain to assist local detectives.
