Former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant Lord Charles Brocket has pleaded not guilty to raping and sexually assaulting a woman. The 74-year-old peer appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on Wednesday, where he denied two counts of rape, two of sexual assault and one count of sexual activity without consent.
The charges relate to an incident in Fulham, west London, on 10 August 2025, all involving the same victim. Lord Brocket, wearing a navy suit, white shirt and blue tie, spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth and deny all charges.
A previous charge of sexual assault by penetration in Warbleton, East Sussex, on 5 May 2025, had been dropped. Lord Brocket was arrested on 29 August 2025 on suspicion of rape and charged the following day.
His trial is scheduled to begin on 1 November 2027. He has been granted conditional bail and must appear at a pre-trial review on 7 October 2026. The alleged victim is being supported by specialist officers, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed.
Lord Brocket, an old Etonian, became known as a playboy in the 1980s and for his collection of classic cars, including 42 Ferraris. He finished fourth on the 2004 series of I'm A Celebrity... and later wrote a bestselling autobiography, Call Me Charlie.
