The official synopsis reads: '19-year-old Dylan Rounds went missing in 2022 from his farm in Lucin, Utah. His phone was found in a nearby pond and once working, it revealed a video had been accidentally recorded on it showing Dylan's neighbour, Jim Brenner, covered in blood and cleaning a gun. Brenner later admitted killing Dylan.'

The episode also covers the case of Cristina Prodan, who went missing from her apartment in Edina, Minnesota. Police tracked her violent partner, Joseph Porter, and eventually arrested him. He later admitted to Cristina's murder.
